WHO WE ARE
Friendship is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America, a conservative denomination that stands on the inerrancy, infallibility, and authority of God's Word. We believe that the Bible is our only guide in what we believe and in how we live. We subscribe to the Westminster Standards as our doctrinal guideline. Although these documents are not to be taken on the same level as the Scriptures, we believe that they are a faithful and helpful summary of the Bible's teaching.
Our church government is Presbyterian, meaning that we are ruled by elders who are elected by the congregation. These men, along with the pastor, are the spiritual leaders of our congregation. We also enjoy the work of our deacons who lead us in the ministries of mercy, service, and stewardship.
